All Jackson Public Schools returned to in person learning Friday February 4th. Some JPS schools had been conducting classes virtually in the wake of the City of Jackson’s latest water issues. In late January, a portion of the city began experiencing low to no water pressure. Friday in person learning resumed at Key Elementary, Marshall, Elementary, Peoples Middle, Whitten Middle, and Wingfield High after water pressure returned to normal. There was one exception. Wilkins scholars reported to that school. Those students were then transported to Van Winkle.
